Esports focused betting operator Luckbox has improved their current gambling options by extending their partnership B2B iGaming provider, EveryMatrix. They had added selection of live sports to their already impressive line-up of betting options.
Their new sports coverage
Luckbox began as a solely esports betting operator. They began their partnership with EveryMatrix in 2019. They were entering the world of esports betting and required a leg up on the data side of the business. They used OddsMatrix, the competitive sportsbook platform offered by EveryMatrix.
Now that they have extended their partnership, Luckbox will be able to expand their reach to over 105 traditional sports. Bettors that use Luckbox will have access to 85,000 pre-match events, 70,000 live events, and 450 types of bets for these traditional sports every month. They will also be able to take advantage of some of the mainstays from traditional sports betting like bet builder and cash out.
Comments from the companies
Quentin Martin, Real Luck Group Ltd. CEO, said:
“The timing of this announcement could not have been better as the Super Bowl, the largest sporting event in the United States and a top 5event globally, gets underway this week. Our partnership with Every Matrix allows us to roll out the functionality with the Australian Open tennis and rugby union’s Six Nations on to the Lockbox platform following Super Bowl LV.”
“Luckbox is a world-leading destination for esports betting, but we know most of our players also love traditional sports. This new functionality means they can bet on hugely popular sports such as soccer, basketball and hockey from the convenience of Luckbox – a single and secure platform that now integrates esports and traditional sports betting. On behalf of Luckbox, I want to thank EveryMatrix for helping us integrate traditional sports betting into the Luckbox platform.”
Ebbe Groes, Group CEO of EveryMatrix, also commented:
“The team here at EveryMatrix is very happy for Luckbox’s progress. Our partnership has proven to be a success story and our excellence within esports absolutely owes a great deal to working with Luckbox. Adding live sports will help address a broader audience, bring over more punters and introduce them to this new and exciting world of esports while providing some diversity.”
The future for Luckbox
Luckbox has gone from strength to strength this year. In 2020, they were named Rising Star at EGR Operator Awards 2020 and are featured on the prestigious Power 50 Rankings list as One to Watch. Luckbox’s parent company Real Luck Group Ltd began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange in Toronto in December last year under the ticker LUCK and is targeting continued rapid growth in 2021.
It is clear that the pandemic and the lockdowns across the globe has drawn more bettors to the esports focused operator. Now that the world is beginning to reopen, it looks like they are placing themselves in the position to maintain the influx of users that they gained in 2020.
