BetConstruct has announced that the second volume of their East & West Expo will be held across the 8th and 9th of December. It will allow visitors to interact with different companies, form new partnerships, and broker deals. Meetings can be held in their virtual meeting rooms as well as hear from leaders of the industry at virtual press conferences.
This was an idea born from the global travel ban and the national stay at home orders. The pandemic halted all in-person industry events and conferences. BetConstruct began to research ways to stay in contact with other members of the igaming industry as well as maintain the feeling of a real-life exhibition.
The technology
The company partnered with PandaMR, a virtual event organiser, to put together the new East & West Expo. PandaMR uses the latest in virtual reality technology to create the impression of being in a real exhibition hall include booths and conference theatres. Users are able to connect with exhibitors and other visitors via voice or video chat in private meetings. Unlike other online events, the press conferences, product presentations, and discussion panels will be held live.
The first expo
The first virtual expo was a success for the company, the estimated that they had over 250 exhibitors and over 10,000 visitors. Vigen Badalyan, CEO and Founder of BetConstruct talked about their plans for the conference in a press release:

BetConnects success
This has been a banner year for BetConnect. As an igaming company, they have benefited from the closure of in-person betting shops during the pandemic and the ability to put themselves forward as the new hosts of an important virtual expo will cement their position as industry leaders.
