MGA Games is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2021, and the year looks set to be a big one all around for the company. A new series of Spanish celebrity slots are set for release, and a new line of roulette casino products is also in the pipeline.
José Antonio Giacomelli, general director of MGA Games confirmed that Intellectual Property (IP) was going to be the hallmark of the company’s new range of slots. All of the games set to be released will include the image of a well-known character.
What can we expect?
There will be 15 new products developed in total. This tally includes seven Spanish slots and eight games from the new Spanish Celebrities Casino 5-Reel Slots series. Those latter games will feature improved audio and visual effects, as well as intriguing mini-games and better mathematics.
“It is inspiring to see how we all continue to adapt to this new situation in a standardized way. It is also inspiring to see how we all continue to fight, to the highest possible degree, for the health of our sector. This is the main reason behind organizing MGA Games Day”, said CEO of MGA Games, Joan Sanahuja
Two launches will begin in 2021 in a strong fashion for MGA. The first of these is a slot called Toi that features the popular character created by Jordi Catala, a viral phenomenon in Spain and Portugal.
The second features celebrity Yola Berrocal, a star of the reality TV show La Casa Fuerte alongside Leticia Sabater. She will star in the first of the Spanish Celebrities five-reel slots that MGA will launch in 2021.
There are more surprises planned too, with MGA lining up something special to mark the release of its 100th game. That title will be a sequel to the hugely popular Chiquito de la Calzada. There are also plans to release a range of Portuguese celebrity-themed games to complement the Spanish selection. The Portuguese range will include Paolo Futre, Fanny Rodríguez, and actress Diana Chaves.
Focus on the local market with plans of expansion
The focus on Spanish and Portuguese titles has been triggered in part by MGA’s Act Local, Think Global philosophy. There are already plans afoot to enter the markets of other European countries too, with Bulgaria, Italy, Holland, Denmark, and Sweden being targeted.
MGA will continue to work on the certification of its games for those local European markets, while also carrying on its expansion into Latin America. They began their Latin American adventures in Colombia, but their slots and other games can also be played in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Peru. Costa Rica and Panama are also on the list of countries where game certification is being sought.
MGA will also be entering the table games market in 2021. The year will see the launch of Grand Croupier Roulette. MGA is optimistic that this game will highlight just how innovative and entertaining its range of games now is.
We expect to see if this expansion and new launches will take form online and which new offers will MGA provide to big partners like Betway, 1xbet, and bet365.
