Rivalry, a betting operator that has been going from strength to strength of late, has just launched an all-new betting app in Ontario. It was in April 2022 that Rivalry entered the province, following a change in laws that opened the doors to sports betting operators. For at least a year, Rivalry has been growing at a rapid rate, posting positive performance across the board and reaching out into other areas – such as content creation – to grow its foothold.
There’s still plenty of growth for the platform to achieve, and part of that growth comes in the form of the brand-new Rivalry mobile sports betting app.
Advancing in Ontario
Reportedly, the Rivalry betting app has been built to target Millenial and Gen-Z audiences, given that they’re the demographic most likely to adopt such an application. On the Rivalry mobile app, bettors can take advantage of a range of sports and esports betting markets, covering everything from CSGO and Call of Duty to the NFL and the NHL.
There are two caveats to this new launch. First, users must be at least nineteen years of age to download the application, and at present, it’s only available on the Apple App Store. It’s not available on Android devices just yet – but there are expectations that this’ll change in future.
Steven Salz, the Co-Founder and CEO of Rivalry, had nothing but good things to say about the all-new app:
‘Mobile betting is a significant addition for our Ontario operations and core audience of Millennial and Gen Z consumers that prefer the flexibility of betting on their phones. Launching a mobile app adds an important layer of accessibility to our product, increasing our addressable market in Ontario, and allowing us to bring esports betting to more customers in the region and ultimately grow the category.’
He added a statement highlighting how tactical a decision it was to launch the application:
‘We are engaging a demographic with unique consumption habits and betting preferences. This is a generation that expects more from the products, entertainment, and brands they consume, and we’ve customised our online betting experience to match that.’
It was recently revealed that Rivalry has secured a month-over-month growth rate of more than 15% on its esports betting markets in Ontario since entering the region just over a year ago. In recent weeks, Rivalry has sought out higher financing amidst soaring profits, and it also took steps to partner with a Brazilian CSGO-focused content creation squad, bringing the brand to an entirely new market.
Things are looking up for Rivalry.
